Usually doulas do not do what the doula in the picture is doing. That's sorta outside of the doula's scope of practice.

You don't touch your patients?
I don't palpate their bellys or check their fundus or anything like that. The only time I touch them is to perform massage, counterpressure etc. Never to do anything medical or diagnostic.
